me. But now I'm finding reading is a lot of fun... '
The Literacy Volunteers of Middlesex has over 125 volunteer tutors,
and serves over 250 adults with limited English proficiency, but there
are many more waiting that want help. You can make a difference. There
are many ways to help LVM in addition to or instead of tutoring.
As in all organizations, we need committee members, Board members,
clerical help, help with fundraising and with public relations. And,
of course, in addition to contributions of time and talent, we always
welcome financial gifts
that will help us train and tutor more people.
The bottom line is - there is something in it for everyone! You will
get great satisfaction from knowing that, directly or indirectly,
you have helped adults meet important life goals.
